introducing design inclusion

A hand holds the Access+Ability program at Nelson-Atkins Museum

We are proud our organization had a chance to hold a two-hour design workshop as part of Nelson-Atkins Museum’s Access+Ability three-month-long exhibit.

On January 18th, we partnered with the museum to hold “Body Positive: A Design Workshop for All.” Make Just Right consultancy member, Caleb Tighe oversaw the workshop for the day.

The room was set up in two stages: First to answer questions to get participants thinking about concepts they might want to design. Second, once they came up with an idea, they were able to move to tables full of materials to work on prototyping the idea.

People of all abilities and ages participated in the workshop! We greatly appreciate Nelson-Atkins for inviting us and getting the opportunity to offer a tactile way to learn design inclusion.
